Our craft
It is demi-fine — real craft in plated metal rather than solid gold. The difference is not the look. It is what happens after six months.
Solid brass, machined and polished before anything is applied to it. Cheap pieces start with a soft pot-metal that bends and pits, and nothing you coat it with can fix that.
Physical Vapour Deposition bonds the gold layer in a vacuum chamber, at the molecular level. An electroplated dip sits on the metal and wears through at the edges. A PVD coating is part of it.
The two metals behind almost every reaction are simply not in the piece. If earrings have always made your ears sore, this is the reason these do not.

Plating is a finish, not a guarantee for life. Treated as the care notes describe, Miska pieces hold their finish for years — which is a promise we can keep, unlike “never tarnishes”.
